Are you a Trust Manager seeking a new challenge with an award-winning firm in the city? Our client is a fast-growing Top 40 firm, with over 500 staff based in their city office. An award-winning firm, with a progressive and supportive culture, this firm has great retention of staff, demonstrated by their plethora of home-grown partners.
Trust Manager responsibilities include:
- Supervising and managing the trust team, providing technical support
- Maintaining client relationships, particularly with trustees, settlors and beneficiaries
- Calculating and reviewing all tax computations for income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
- Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of all accounts prepared by the team
- Advising trustees and beneficiaries of offshore trusts how funds should be distributed from the trust and how the tax pools are allocated on distributions
- Providing tax advice as required in connection with trust affairs
As a Trust Manager, you will:
- Be CTA / ACCA / ACA / TEP qualified
- Have over 5 yearsβ Trust Tax experience
- Have a good understanding of the taxation of UK Trusts and to a lesser extent offshore trusts and UK charities
- Be comfortable managing a team
- Have worked on advisory projects
