As a Sales Advisor based in our Halifax branch you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
  • Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse.
  • Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.

This is a full-time, permanent role - Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.

Here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Plumbing & Heating experience is essential
  • Proven experience in a face-to-face sales/customer service position
  • Great communication skills and a customer-first approach
  • Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch
  • Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
  • A driving licence is preferable as you will be required to cover the regular driver when he is out of the business
