Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high-end residential construction? We’re representing a dynamic and fast-growing construction and design business based in Farnham, seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding portfolio of bespoke residential projects.

This is a company on the rise—renowned for delivering beautifully crafted homes for private clients across Surrey, Hampshire, and South West London. With a healthy pipeline of work and a reputation for precision and quality, this is a great opportunity to take ownership and grow with the business.

The Role

You’ll be working on 3–5 residential projects at any given time, with individual values of up to £300k. Collaborating closely with the Director and Project Managers, you’ll be involved from early cost planning through to final accounts—ensuring financial control, transparency, and value at every stage.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Managing procurement of contractors, materials and subcontractor packages
  • Monitoring project costs, cash flow and value engineering opportunities
  • Conducting valuations, cost reporting and forecasting throughout the build
  • Managing variations, change control and final accounts
  • Supporting strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors
  • Ensuring commercial aspects align with high design and delivery standards

About You

  • Experience in residential construction (new builds, refurbishments or extensions)
  • Proven track record of managing project finances across multiple sites
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Confident in working with clients, consultants, and site teams
  • Able to work independently while supporting wider team objectives
  • Located within easy reach of Farnham and regional project sites
