We are currently supporting one of our clients in their search for a Site Manager to work on several projects starting on July 21st. The projects include an LED lighting upgrade, demo works, and M&E upgrades. This role will last until the end of September. The working hours are generally 8-hour days.
Requirements include:
- Enhanced DBS
- SMSTS
- First Aid certifications
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering all construction activities in line with health & safety policies
- Working according to RAMS
- Monitoring quality and progress
- Coordinating direct and indirect (subcontractor) personnel
- Leading and delivering the project programme
- Liaising with internal departments
- Maintaining and completing high-quality records, reports, and paperwork promptly
- Providing regular site updates to the Contracts Manager
- Communicating regularly with the client
Candidates must demonstrate a successful track record in similar roles.
Key qualifications:
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid Certificate
- Time-served tradesperson or qualified to appropriate level (HNC/HND/NVQ)
- Proficiency in IT systems
