Agility is delighted to be working with a Family Run business based in Manchester City Centre. They are a company that specialises in designing and refurbishing buildings and creating companies their dream office spaces. Due to the expansion of the company and their new business ventures, they are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. They are a successful business, and you will be joining an accounts team of 4.
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in maintaining a high standard of financial control.
What you will be doing:
- Checking and coding supplier invoices (against delivery notes, price lists & coding to present budgets) for 12 properties in total
- Supplier statements & account reconciliations / query resolution
- Bank reconciliation work, currently having 16 bank accounts which are reviewed, reconciled, and finalised monthly
- Intracompany recharging and reconciliation work
- Processing of expense claims
- Credit control, including debtor letters and calls
- Service charge accounting, including year-end reconciliation, budgets, and tenant accounts (preferred but not essential)
- Utilities reconciliation and recharging
- VAT reporting and submissions
- Any other duties as required by the Finance Manager
About you:
- Experience in Accounting/Finance for at least 3 years
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
- Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
