Our client is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Contractor Sales) to join their ever-growing Northern Region. You will be joining a successful HVAC company that owns 3 different manufacturers and operates across 65 countries, having been in operation for over 100 years.
The role of an Area Sales Manager involves managing a designated territory covering the North West (Manchester, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, and Merseyside) to achieve business objectives, including account management, order targets, margin management, and customer retention. You will maintain a project pipeline through Quotation Management Software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date forecasts for review. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategic development of the Applications team by promoting HVAC equipment with a product range including: AHU, FCU, Chillers, and CCU, as well as service offerings to expand market presence and share.
The position also requires aligning with the company's vision and strategic goals to support profitable growth. You will provide feedback to factories on their performance and business needs, ensuring continuous improvement. Adherence to company processes for bidding, pricing, and order management is essential, along with contributing to process development. The role may also involve attending industry functions, seminars, conferences, and other external events to support sales and professional development.
Job Requirements:- ONC, HNC/D, Degree in Mechanical / HVAC discipline or equivalent would be an advantage or time served within HVAC technical field.
- Full HVAC knowledge across the product range, including AHU, FCU, Chillers, and CCU.
- Experience selling to a range of Building services, HVAC & M&E Contractors.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Live in or around North West.
- Salary £60-65k based on experience.
- Comprehensive Commission Structure - paid every quarter (structure to be discussed).
- Bonus - potential for £100k OTE.
- 25 days holiday plus bank - option to purchase up to 5 more days.
- Car allowance (£540 per month) or Company Car.
- Pension (5% EE, 4% ER).
