EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Here at Severn Trent, we’re looking for a SAP Ariba Software Engineer to play an integral role in supporting and improving our SAP Ariba application. Working under the supervision of a Team Manager and the guidance of a Senior SAP Ariba Software Engineer, you’ll demonstrate advanced SAP Ariba skills, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, secure environment. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in the implementation, governance, and support of our SAP procurement systems, predominantly SAP Ariba. You will be involved in configuration, testing, and launching functionalities that meet our business needs, while managing risk, workload, scope, and schedule. You will collaborate actively with both business and technical partners, end users, and team members to ensure high-quality application delivery and continuous improvement. Accountabilities will include: Actively participate in fulfilling all Customer Service Requests proactively. Investigate and resolve incidents within SLA, ensuring root cause is understood and documented. Document all changes, processes, and operating procedures for SAP procurement applications and contribute these to the STW repository. Lead root cause analysis of problems and ensure timely escalation if required. Identify, arrange, and implement solutions to bugs/problems within our applications landscape. Capture business requirements and implement new functionality, working with the business for testing. Update support packs and collaborate with SAP to stay current with new functionality.
