My client, a large, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of experts in the Northern city of Leeds, unofficial capital of Yorkshire.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Good working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, and others), and their applications within the industry
  • Working knowledge of Infoworks ICM, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, etc.

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following skills:

  • Experience of stakeholder liaison with a range of public and private clients
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

In your exciting new role of Flood Risk Consultant, you will join a specialist team of engineering and design experts in their respective fields, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:

  • Completing Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and working on Flood Mitigation Projects
  • Producing Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

  • Liaising with a range of clients and other stakeholders
