Job Summary
Based within the Student Recruitment Events team, this role is responsible for the organisation and delivery of open days, applicant days, postgraduate open evenings, campus tours and other events to attract prospective students and their families, both in person and virtually.
Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating and leading events from initial interest stages through to enrolment encouragement, collaborating with Marketing & Communications, central services and academic colleagues to achieve recruitment targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Organise and deliver large‑scale events to fixed deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and prioritise workload.
• Supervise staff or volunteers during events.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and out of hours.
• Attend interview sessions on 18th and 19th December at the Moulsecoomb campus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience organising and delivering large scale events to fixed deadlines.
- Strong communication and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with targeted subject recruitment events at a university.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers.
Working Hours
This role requires regular weekend and out‑of‑hours work. Agile working is supported; the team meets in the office every Tuesday and will be present for a few days before each event. Job sharers are welcome to apply.
