As an Energy Analyst, you will play a key role in helping public sector buildings optimise their energy performance, working with institutions such as schools, healthcare facilities, and government offices. This role is essential for driving energy efficiency initiatives, and you will be involved in energy assessments, audits, and compliance reporting, offering an exciting opportunity for growth in the energy sector.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse energy usage data across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use specialised software to track and report on energy consumption.
  • Support the creation of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Display Energy Certificates (DECs).
  • Provide energy efficiency recommendations to clients based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of renewable energy projects like solar PV and heat pumps.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarising energy performance and recommendations.
  • Monitor clients’ progress in achieving regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on energy policies, trends, and technologies.
  • Assist in creating energy budgets and financial models for energy projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., EPC, ESOS, CEng, IEng)
  • Proven experience in energy assessments and knowledge of building energy systems.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies like solar PV and heat pumps.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for writing reports and client presentations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
