Compliance Manager – Investments Location: Chester, UK Contract: Permanent Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits Job Description We are seeking an experienced compliance professional with expertise in investments to join our regulatory consultancy. The role involves providing compliance support across the investments sector, including hedge funds and private equity, and helping clients navigate complex regulatory challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance on regulations such as MiFID II, AIFMD, market abuse, short selling, and offshore fund establishment. Support regulatory projects, including compliance reviews, audits, and policy updates. Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure their implementation in client policies and procedures. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, advising on best practices. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of compliance excellence. About You Proven experience in wholesale investment compliance, with exposure to hedge funds and private equity preferred. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, AIFMD, SFTR, EMIR, and SMCR. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality client service. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Relevant financial qualifications (e.g., CISI IOC, IAD, PCIAM) are desirable. Why Join Us?
