About Deepsink: Deepsink is a pioneering commercial agency dedicated to accelerating the commercial development of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) companies. Our mission is to drive growth for the most promising climate tech and infrastructure, using business as a force for good in tackling climate change. As the first commercial agency in the CDR sector, we are at the forefront of an industry set to grow to £200 billion by 2050. Joining us offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of CDR and make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview: We're looking for a sharp, energetic Business Development Representative to help us generate revenue and close deals for our climate clients. You’ll own outbound sales outreach, build strong pipelines, and pitch carbon credit solutions directly to buyers. This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role for someone who knows how to hustle, hit targets, and drive sales — not just plan them.

Ideal for someone who:

  • Comes from an SDR, BDR or early-career sales role
  • Experience in agency or consultancy outsourced work
  • Thrives in high-volume outbound & complex commercial environments
  • Wants to take full ownership of a sales process, on behalf of our Carbon Removal Projects.
  • Has experience selling complex or technical products - previous experience in renewable energy credit and/or Carbon Markets is a nice to have.
  • Is passionate about climate, but not necessarily a climate expert (yet)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Sales: Own and execute outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls and face to face. Get our clients’ carbon credits in front of the right buyers and close deals.
  • Pipeline Building: Research, identify, and qualify leads. Build your own book of prospects across industries and geographies.
  • Pitching: Deliver sharp, effective sales conversations and presentations to a range of buyers - from SMEs to senior corporate sustainability teams.
  • CRM & Sales Ops: Maintain and optimise lead data in HubSpot (or similar). Track KPIs and report progress regularly.
  • Client Support: Work directly with clients to support their commercial success. Join calls, provide updates, and ensure smooth sales delivery.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with our strategy and marketing teams to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach.
  • Industry insight: Stay informed on the latest trends in the CDR market, ESG developments, and climate action to provide valuable guidance to clients and the internal team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Sales Experience: 2+ years in sales — ideally as an SDR, BDR, or account executive. Agency or startup experience is a plus.
  • Track Record: Experience hitting quotas or delivering against clear commercial KPIs.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable owning a process end-to-end, working independently, and figuring things out fast.
  • Sales Toolkit: Confident with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), basic sales automation tools, and outbound sequencing.
  • Commercial Curiosity: Excited to learn about climate tech, carbon markets, and B2B climate sales.
  • Organised & Metrics-Driven: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting data, and tracking outcomes.
  • Climate Motivation: A genuine interest in sustainability, clean tech, or carbon removal.

Why Join Deepsink?

  • Accelerated Career Path: Take on meaningful responsibilities from day one, a great transition into the carbon industry
  • Tangible Climate Impact: Directly support companies that are removing carbon from the atmosphere
  • Collaborative Team: Work closely with a small, driven, and mission-aligned team
  • Growth & Learning: Work at the frontier of climate, business, and systems innovation
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work culture and potential international travel opportunities
