Flexibility that works for you
This is a Full-time or Part-Time position. Our full-time Vets typically work a 40-hour week across 4 days with a mix of earlies (starting at 7:30am) and late shifts (starting at 11:00am). Weekends are 1:4 and there is a second on-call cover for occasional nights.
Join an exceptional practice
We are a 19 vet hospital with 8 satellite branches with multiple certificate holders (surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, oncology, diagnostic imaging, exotics) and varied equipment, and are looking for a consult only vet for some of our branches. We are an ISFM Silver accredited and RWAF Silver Hospital based in Foots Cray within the London Borough of Bexley. We offer 24/7 care to our loyal clients, and we have a large enthusiastic and friendly team. We have separate cat, dog, and exotics wards, each encompassing their operating theatres, as well as dedicated dental suites, ultrasound facilities, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopic equipment and of course x-ray. Parkvets have all the toys, bells and whistles you would expect. We also have an extensive lab, staffed by bio-medical professionals experienced in supporting the vet team.
Our supportive team
You will be joining a talented team of vets and nurses as well as admin and supporting team members. You will be working alongside several certificate holders in various disciplines (Imaging, Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Exotics, Dentistry) and you will have plenty of opportunity to develop skills and knowledge - both formally through CPD and informally through case collaboration.
