NEW GROUND WONT BREAK ITSELF

Every day, our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. People Advisory is an internal-facing consultancy team whose purpose is to deliver a people experience aligned with the people strategy, the firm’s purpose, and its strategic goals. The team aims to create an environment where our people can thrive, do their best work, share responsibility, and deliver exceptional client service.

This means doing what’s right rather than what’s easy. The work you do will have a significant impact on our people, clients, and the firm. We pride ourselves on the high standards we uphold in our work.

We’re open to flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help you balance work and life.

About the role

You will be part of a flexible team supporting the business with people lifecycle activities related to performance, talent, and reward. You will also guide and coach people managers in managing their teams effectively, including handling performance issues, absence, investigations, and disciplinary cases. Supporting Senior People Advisers and People Advisory Managers, you will deliver on our people strategy, initiatives, and annual cycle.

Given the importance of this role, there will be opportunities for you to expand your knowledge and develop your skills.

Who we’re looking for

The minimum criteria for a People Adviser include:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role supporting large client groups
  • Experience in employee relations activities such as absence management, investigations, and disciplinary processes
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and presentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Examples of supporting managers with impactful initiatives

Additional skills that are desirable include:

  • Experience in large, complex organizations
  • Experience collaborating within service line structures and centers of excellence
  • Experience delivering Inclusion and Diversity initiatives
  • Experience managing people processes like salary reviews, performance moderation, and talent management

Why you might be right for us

We value diversity and inclusion, fostering a culture where everyone can perform at their best and reach their potential. Our open and accessible culture encourages interaction with leaders who are genuinely interested in you and your contributions. We support bringing your whole self to work and pursuing passions inside and outside of work.

Beyond the job

We recognize that life extends beyond work. We offer flexible working options to help maintain a healthy work-life balance. The impact you make here will go beyond your day job, including opportunities for secondments, charity work, and supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. Our values—Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence, Agility, Respect, and Responsibility—guide everything we do.

We seek individuals eager to contribute, innovate, and exceed expectations—people committed to doing what’s right for the firm, clients, colleagues, and themselves. It’s how it should be
