Line Leader

Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm.

Hourly Rate: £13.21 per hour (£12.21 base + £1.00 per hour Line/Team Leader increase).

• Ensure that the Production Line under their charge maximises the utilisation of the main resources of the business.
• Report and communicate all issues affecting Production effectively.
• Maintain traceability of all finished products and donor stocks in accordance with Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures.
• Motivate a team to meet production targets.
• Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
• Maximise production efficiency to meet plans on an hourly/daily basis.
• Adhere to and promote best practices in health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Complete all paperwork and systems accurately as per company procedures.
• Assist in developing a skills matrix for all production workers.
• Support training and development of new starters.
• Monitor, control, and minimise waste.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate positively and clearly.
• Knowledge of company procedures and compliance demonstration.
• Ability to lead a team of temporary labour positively.
• Recognise and promote continuous improvement.
• Display a positive attitude to change.
• Drive continuous performance improvement.
• Experience in a customer-led environment with changing priorities.
• Experience with manufacturing machinery and processes.
• Preferably food or packing experience.
