Content Designer - Central Government

Role: Content Designer Contract Length: 3 months Location: Hybrid/London, Bristol or Manchester -2-3 days on site (London and Manchester have a good team presence on site) IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £450 per day Security Clearance: BPSS Spinwell is recruiting for a Content Designer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTENT DESIGNER Create, improve and manage user-centered content for GOV.UK Chat using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information Contribute to and help develop content principles, improvements and templates used on GOV.UK Chat Refine the user onboarding journey and in product guidance for GOV.UK Chat Improve the way GOV.UK Chat is framed and the product is explained to the user Identify the needs of users, write user stories, design content plans, create and publish content Identity and collaborate effectively with stakeholders Develop and apply content and format strategies with support from a senior content designer Contribute to the cross-government and client content community SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CONTENT DESIGNER Content design: you should be great at creating, improving and publishing user-centred content. You should have experience of working with content publishing systems Using insights and analytics: you should know how to use analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information to make decisions about content and how to improve it Stakeholder management: you should have considerable experience of working with stakeholders / clients to understand their issues while maintaining content quality Prioritisation:you should have experience of project management, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. You should know how to work to tight deadlines and under pressure while ensuring attention to detail Improving ways of working: you should know how to develop and implement content strategies, as well as helping to improve processes If you are a Content Designer, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
