Job Title: Content and Social Media Writer Department: Marketing Reporting to: Head of Marketing Location: Neasden The Content Writer and Social Media Executive will be a key part of our Marketing team, developing engaging digital content across our divisions, creating marketing materials both online and offline. Responsibilities include conducting research on industry topics, generating new content ideas, proofreading articles, and delivering high-quality stories that attract audiences, customers, and enhance brand awareness. Main Job Responsibilities: Create engaging written content for websites, press releases, brochures, presentations, social media, blogs, scripts, product descriptions, and marketing projects. Manage social media channels, increase engagement, and ensure active presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc. Research industry-related topics through online sources, interviews, and studies. Proofread, edit content, and optimize for SEO to increase web traffic. Write precise and engaging product descriptions, collaborating with the team for product launches. Coordinate with Product Managers and Marketing to produce content for product launches, including packaging, press releases, promotional materials, social media, and e-commerce content. Identify content gaps and recommend new topics based on customer needs. Maintain consistency in style, fonts, images, and tone. Develop and report on marketing content strategies. Update tone of voice guidelines aligned with brand values and digital best practices. Show initiative by suggesting new content ideas and improving content quality and efficiency. Contribute to the overall content strategy and determine optimal publishing channels. Required Skills: A relevant degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or similar, with at least 5 years of content writing experience in marketing, preferably in a product or technical environment. A natural storyteller passionate about writing, highly creative, and solution-oriented. Excellent command of English language and grammar. Interest and ability to understand technical features and applications. Experience in digital content writing, SEO, and optimization tools. Strong commercial awareness of consumer behavior and technical products. Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Organized and capable of planning and executing tasks accurately and efficiently.
