A specialist manufacturing organisation based in Cheshire East is seeking an experienced HR Lead for this rare part-time opportunity.
As HR Lead your role will be stand-alone role for the UK site reporting to the global Head of HR and Site Manager. Your part-time role will be 2 to 3 days per week and mostly office based.
Your HR role will be a broad and catch-all type of position with being the sole point of contact for the site. You will be entirely responsible for developing, owning, leading, and delivering all operational HR activities.
As HR Lead you will be responsible for:
- Oversee all HR operations, including contracts, onboarding, policies, salary reviews, and benefits.
- Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and handbooks are up to date, legally compliant, and aligned with company values.
- Handle complex employee relations cases such as disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancies.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on all HR matters.
- Identify HR risks and propose effective solutions.
- Manage work visa processes and compliance.
- Implement HR initiatives like performance management and improvement plans.
- Maintain and oversee HR systems.
- Manage recruitment and succession planning as needed
You will have:
- Extensive hands-on HR experience, ideally at a managerial or leadership level.
- Minimum CIPD Level 5
- Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
- Comfortable working independently in a standalone HR role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What\’s on offer:
