Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS
Salary: ÂŁ35,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 52 weeks
Start Date: December 2025

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the facilities team
- Ensure that the facilities provided are of a high standard at all times
- Coordinate capital and operational expenditure
- Monitor and audit schedules of work and the quality of completed projects
- Ensure cost‑effective contracts are in place
- Prioritise planned and responsive workload
- Manage and be part of the on‑call/out‑of‑hours response team
- Support Health and Safety, food hygiene, fire management and building‑related technical matters
