R&D Tax Technical Assistant Manager – Nottingham

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Technical Assistant Manager to join a leading R&D tax consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, progressive team with a clear path toward becoming a future R&D Tax Director. It provides an excellent alternative to a Big 4 environment, with flexible working arrangements and strong prospects for professional growth.

As the R&D Tax Assistant Manager, you will develop and maintain strong client relationships, deliver high-quality tax projects, and ensure technical excellence. You will work within a core team of R&D and Corporate Tax Specialists and serve as a key client-facing representative. The role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to retain existing clients and attract new ones.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an R&D Tax role within an accounting firm. A tax qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Since this is a client-facing position, personable qualities and experience in advising and business development are essential.
