Argyle Center Assisted Living Program is actively seeking an experienced Director of Patient Services (DPS) to lead our Assisted Living Program. Excellent Compensation & Benefits!

Qualifications:

  • Current NY RN license required
  • Three years of experience as a professional nurse with at least one year of administrative/supervisory experience in community health
  • UAS Certification and prior ALP experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning the overall development and administration of the Agency, following policies and procedures
  • Participate in the development of administrative policies and procedures
  • Direct the implementation of approved work methods and procedures to ensure high-quality care
  • Review and evaluate existing clerical/administrative policies to ensure staff can effectively carry out their responsibilities and meet goals
  • Participate in the review and analysis of the Agency's program effectiveness
  • Supervise job classifications and descriptions of professional personnel
  • Select and maintain a qualified, organized staff to meet patient needs
  • Establish methods for interdisciplinary coordination of care
  • Lead efforts to promote and maintain high standards of patient care
  • Perform duties of any nursing position as needed
