Role Overview
We are looking to hire a Regional Finance and Analytics Lead - a new role, that will support the Director of Regional Finance and wider team, with financial operations (planning, budgets, forecasting and accounting) and overall, provide a highly valued βbridge' for global stakeholders for managing their respective regional bottom lines via data-informed decision making.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Development and maintaining of financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. By identifying key drivers of financial performance, your recommendations will support business units with data-driven insights and assist in scenario planning to evaluate potential strategies. You will also prepare and present financial reports and executive summaries for leadership and board meetings; and overall track operational and financial KPIs, highlighting opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Regional Accounting & Financial Operations: Play an oversight role for regional accounting functions, with joint accountability and assurance of accurate and timely financial reporting - including general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations. Help ensure correct revenue recognition and compliance with financial policies and GAAP/IFRS standards; Monitoring accounts receivable and cash flow, proactively addressing collection risks; and overall, maintenance and improvement of financial controls, accounting processes, and workflow efficiencies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting: Partnering with stakeholders, you will drive key initiatives that add value - such as implementing project profitability reviews; enhance the financial literacy for cross-functional teams and assist with market research and business intelligence efforts, leveraging financial data to support growth initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Systems Management: Utilize ERP systems (D365, SAP) and Power BI to extract, analyze, and present financial data effectively. Additionally, identify and process improvements to enhance efficiency and process automation.
Requirements
Ideally, we would like someone with:
- Demonstrable project/corporate accounting and FP&A experience needed, ideally 3-5 years at least, plus Bachelor's degree and professional accounting qualification.
- Background in auditing or financial services is highly desirable but not essential - knowledge US GAAP and IFR is helpful too.
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights, with a high proficiency for financial modelling and data analysis.
- Track record of using Power BI and ERP systems, preferably multi-country/currency - evident problem solving and analytical approach to work; enjoys commercial challenges and contributing to business growth strategies.
- Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills, comfortable with influencing and partnering with various stakeholders.
This role is based in our office in London, UK, 5 days a week.
