We have been a leading figure in publishing for more than 500 years. We have always been a forward-looking organization, maximizing the technology for the day, but the digital revolution is bringing enormous change, fast. That same spirit of adventure and entrepreneurialism is critical to our future success. In a fast-changing publishing landscape, OUP welcomes the inquisitive, the inventive, and the ambitious; people who challenge the conventional, and pioneer the possible. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Editorial and Delivery team in the Education UK Division, creating high-quality, market-leading resources for primary and secondary school students. In this role you will be responsible for taking print and digital projects, for Maths and other subjects as required, through the production process, working with authors, freelancers and other in-house editors, and design and digital teams, to ensure that high-quality, market-appropriate products publish on time and within budget. Principle accountabilities/key result areas include: Applying editorial skills, judgement, and best practice to ensure that products are accurate, appropriate, accessible and published to specifications. Progressing resources through the production process, from manuscript to finished product (both print and digital resources). Proactive problem-solving to ensure that resources come out to schedule and within budget. Building and fostering good working relationships with colleagues, freelancers, authors and suppliers. Monitoring spend against defined budgets. Developing skills in print and digital resource production for the schools market. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
