Base pay range

Referment is partnering with a leading alternative investment firm with $45 billion in AUM to recruit a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join their infrastructure team. The role focuses on building and automating secure, scalable Windows and storage platforms to support the company\’s diverse technology stack and data needs.
Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain a secure Windows and storage platform for large-scale data handling.
• Promote and implement Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Automate processes to reduce toil in large, distributed systems.
• Contribute to migration efforts towards cloud-native, distributed applications.
• Collaborate with teams to improve infrastructure reliability, performance, and availability.

Requirements

• Strong scripting/coding skills (PowerShell, Python, Golang, Shell).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Expertise in Windows systems, Active Directory, and Exchange.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage technologies at scale.
• Familiarity with network technologies and server virtualization.
• Broad knowledge of Azure and AWS.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, PagerDuty).
