My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, has a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter.

The Job:
- Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics.
- Work to tight tolerances (-10 microns)
- Working on complex machine builds
- Maintenance and refurb of heavy machinery
- Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage.
- Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment
About you:
- Mechanically trained with the ability to build a component from start to finish.
- Experience with multi-axis precision machinery
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and on bespoke and one-off items.
- Good all-round mechanical assembler with a confident understanding of machine tools.
