Essex Law is a specialist Debt Recovery and Litigation practice in Clacton on Sea. We advise businesses and individuals all over the Country. The main sectors we work with are Financial Services firms, but we are looking to broaden our horizons over the next 12 months into Employment litigation and Property Litigation.
We are now looking to expand our team and wish to add a Full time Litigation Lawyer role to run a caseload of litigation matters, providing advice to clients, both individuals and companies. We are happy to take applications from Solicitors and CILEx Lawyers.
The role entails working on a variety of litigated and pre-litigated cases covering a wide range of case types including but not restricted to debt recovery, general litigation, data protection and consumer credit matters. The role includes working on and advising on small claims, Fast Track and intermediate Track cases. Property litigation experience would be desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Building strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Providing clients with confidence in the firm's ability to solve their legal issues
- Handling a variety of litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, breach of contract claims, debt recovery and commercial litigation
- Collaborating with the team to meet monthly targets and KPIs
- Contributing to business growth by identifying new opportunities and promoting the firm's services
Applicants will be familiar with all aspects of litigation and caselaw, capable of supporting junior members of the team.
