An established food manufacturer in Shropshire is seeking Facilities Engineers across multiple specialisms — Electrical, Plumbing/Steam, and Refrigeration — to join their growing site services team at their Market Drayton production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for multi-skilled Facilities Engineers who enjoy working on a wide range of systems including utilities, refrigeration, process pipework, and electrical infrastructure. You'll be supporting the critical services that keep the site running safely and efficiently.

Roles:

  • Electrical: Installations, fault finding, testing and compliance of electrical systems
  • Plumbing & Steam: Installation, maintenance and repair of water, steam, compressed air and process pipework systems
  • Refrigeration: Maintenance and FGAS-regulated repairs on Freon, CO2, Ammonia systems

Requirements:

  • Work from CMMS and respond to PPMs and breakdowns
  • Support infrastructure and compliance
  • Supervise contractors and issue permits with appropriate RAMS

Experience and skills:

  • C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Refrigeration
  • 18th Edition (for electrical roles), FGAS Cat 1 (for refrigeration roles)
  • Experience with steam systems, compressed air, and utilities desirable
  • CMMS knowledge (preferably HolisTech)
  • Comfortable working with contractors and producing RAMS/permits
  • Strong fault-finding skills and proactive attitude
