HR Advisor
Northampton – NN3

Working within the head office for this leisure business you will be the sole HR person reporting to the Director and supporting 200 employees within 9 sites across the UK. You will be based in Northampton, but there is scope to visit sites if the need arises, but not essential.
This business has more sites planned to open in 2025, so you will be able to increase your HR team.
Duties and responsibilities for the HR Advisor role include:
- First line support to Managers and Employees on all ER matters
- Assist in development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Handles employee enquiries recommending solutions and escalating appropriately.
- Oversee employee life cycle activities including assisting with talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding and offboarding
- Assisting with interviews for head office and middle management
- Provide general day to day HR support on operational issues including attending & documenting disciplinaries/grievances where necessary
- Oversee staff retention and continue to look at ways to improve this
Skills and experience required for the HR Advisor role:
- Previous HR generalist experience
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws, regulations and best practices
- A high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
- The ability to build relationships quickly
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Strong IT skills, PC literate
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
