33 days paid holidays, pay rate is Β£17.24 per hour, Permanent Position, OT available, Pension Contribution of up to 5%, 4 Day working week, well established market leading manufacturing company.

We welcome applications from candidates with a Fabricator Welder background, including vehicle building, maintenance, manufacture, and repair. Strong fabrication and welding skills with a recognised vocational qualification are required. Candidates must have 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering or the commercial vehicle industry, be able to read technical drawings, and recognise welding symbols. Experience working to tight delivery timescales is essential.

Duties of the Fabricator Welder:

  • Carry out fabrication of parts, components, and chassis of brand new vehicles.
  • MIG Welding.
  • Work to fabrication drawings.
  • Self-inspect own work.
  • Operate fabrication machinery.
  • Work with Mild Steel & Stainless Steel (Aluminium experience is a bonus but not essential).

What we need from you for this Fabricator Welder role:

  • Adhere to H&S Guidelines.
  • Previous experience in a vehicle building environment.
  • Ability to work to fabrication drawings and understand fabrication and welding symbols on diagrams.
  • Self-starter.
  • Comfortable completing job sheets.
  • Work with correct PPE and ensure all equipment is used correctly and safely.
