Overview
Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs. Performs all work in accordance with safety procedures.
Major Responsibilities
- Operates, tests, and monitors equipment according to guidelines.
- Observes equipment operation and documents maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages; communicates with technicians on complex issues.
- Verifies data for reporting and supports installation of equipment.
