Senior macOS Engineer – 6 months – Hybrid/London
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Apple products, you will work as part of a team supporting Apple Macs using tools such as Jamf (Legacy) and Workspace ONE (Primary).
The role is varied; you will be expected to liaise with the downstream support teams (Service Desk, Second Line Support) and lead on such areas as OS updates, software deployments, security updates, etc. In addition, there will be specific project work to undertake – implementing/integrating Unified Endpoint Management solutions, cyber solutions, hardware refreshes, etc.
Requirements:
- Advanced Knowledge of Jamf Pro (Ideally Jamf 200/300/400 certification)
- Varied knowledge of Front End desktop support, Back End infrastructure support, systems management, and project management with well-rounded appreciation of enterprise systems and architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of Apple Business Manager, ADE (formerly DEP), VPP
- Proven experience and knowledge of managing Apple products
- Advanced knowledge of Scripting: Bash (essential)
- Experience with macOS operating system
- Ability to independently solve and troubleshoot technical issues
- Knowledge of Omnissa Workspace ONE desirable
This is also an admin role, so will require SC Clearance.
