We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major data center construction projects from inception to completion. Based in London, you will join a specialist team within a leading project consultancy, playing a pivotal role in the successful execution of mission-critical infrastructure for global technology and colocation clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from feasibility and planning through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Oversee project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality, cost, and programme objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communications.
- Provide expert guidance on procurement strategies, contract administration, and technical coordination.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Act as the key client liaison, building long-term relationships and maintaining confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data center or critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, and commissioning within high-performance environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) preferred.
