A business in the education sector near Malton are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to support their team for an initial 4–6 month period. On offer is a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, and the chance to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This role may be done on a 3-5 day basis, and has the potential to become a permanent role, should this be desired.
As the Finance Manager, you will be:
- Leading month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaising with auditors and external stakeholders
- Streamlining financial controls and processes
- Providing commercial insight to support decision-making
- Managing and mentoring a small finance team
To be successful in this Finance Manager role, you will ideally have/be:
- A qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
- Proven experience in a senior finance role
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
