Are you looking for a night-time position? Would you like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people in Ash Vale? Then join Dimensions as a Waking Night Support Worker. Dimensions is seeking Waking Night Support Workers to join the team who ensure the 3 gentlemen and 2 ladies we support, who are aged between their 40's-70's and have learning disabilities, have a happy and safe night by supporting with their night-time routine.
Shift times run from 21.30-07.00 and Dimensions are able to offer a pay rate of £12.11 per hour. We are looking for someone who is happy to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Waking Night Support Workers will generally arrive when the people we support are already asleep. During the night, Female Waking Night Support Workers will assist the people we support by:
- Checking on them regularly
- Assisting with any personal care requirements
- Keeping anyone who wakes up through the night company
- Completing domestic tasks that we can't do when people we support are up and about
- Supporting with morning routines before the day staff come in
The people we support would like you to know that although they do not all use words to communicate, they have other ways of letting you know what they want and need. If you are not used to different types of communication, don't worry as Dimensions will provide all Waking Support Workers with full training.
