What you’ll be doing StepChange is seeking a Technology & Modern Work Architect to lead the evolution of its core infrastructure, collaboration, and identity platforms. You’ll shape policies, standards, and solution designs while ensuring technical decisions are well-informed and scalable. Beyond architecture, you\’ll advocate modern work practices, foster collaboration across teams, and oversee vendor solutions to ensure alignment with our technology strategy and governance frameworks. About You We’re looking for a Technology & Modern Work Architect with deep expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud service integration, and modern workplace solutions. In this role, you\’ll shape our core infrastructure, collaboration, and identity platforms, leveraging your expertise in AWS, Azure Entra-ID Suite, and M365 Enterprise. Your knowledge of IaaS, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and IP telephony will be instrumental in designing scalable, efficient systems. You\’ll also work extensively with Microsoft Entra-ID\’s identity capabilities, M365 collaboration tools, and security solutions like the Microsoft Entra-ID suite and Microsoft Defender, ensuring the charity remains ahead in modern work practices and digital security. You’ll balance timeliness, cost, and quality in solution design while ensuring risk mitigation and compliance. Your ability to distilldistil complex architectures into clear, consumable documents will be crucial, as will your hands-on experience with networking, identity, and M365 technologies, preferably certified at Solution Architect level. Most importantly, you’ll design with both technology and people in mind—ensuring seamless adoption and an effective operating model.
