This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced technical leader to advise clients on strategic technical decisions, guide digital transformations, and drive cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern technology stacks, architecture best practices, and a passion for problem-solving in complex environments. Responsibilities: Advise clients on strategic technical decisions, best practices, and architectural solutions. Lead discovery engagements to assess clients\’ existing workloads, infrastructure, and software environments. Develop target-state infrastructure/application architecture and create roadmaps for delivery. Provide technical direction and oversight to delivery teams during digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives. Engage with clients at pre-sales stages, assisting in solution design and proposal development. Assess competing technologies to recommend the best-fit solutions for clients. Stay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, continually expanding technical skills. Obtain and maintain relevant certifications and accreditations. Lead and mentor staff, fulfilling people management responsibilities across Europe. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of experience in a technology organization, with significant responsibility for setting technical direction. Ability to work independently, translate high-level goals into actionable plans, and execute them successfully. Broad expertise in Linux/Windows systems, Cloud infrastructure, Messaging/Streaming technologies, Data-stores/Databases, API design, Networking, Security, Version Control Systems, and CI/CD tools. Deep experience with several of the following: Kafka, Flink, Spark, Kubernetes, API Gateways, messaging systems (Tibco, IBM MQ, and open-source variants). Strong understanding of data streaming, integration patterns, and their impact on feature velocity, data security, and processing efficiency. Some programming experience. Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills. Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Industry experience in Manufacturing, Transport, or Financial Services is a strong advantage. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience interacting directly with clients and senior executives in an advisory or consulting capacity. Large-scale cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OpenStack. Expertise in Streaming Data, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, and distributed computing. Knowledge of Automated Testing and Test Data Management. Strong understanding of Containerization (especially Kubernetes) and best practices. Experience working in globally distributed teams.
