Relationship Fundraising Manager
Macmillan Cancer Support is looking for an experienced Relationship Fundraising Manager to join our new fiveāyear strategy team. In this rewarding role you will drive income growth across the region by building valuable relationships with supporters and delivering tailored stewardship to a variety of audiences. You will boost Macmillan\ās presence in communities, raising awareness of our vital services and the difference they can make.
Role Overview
The position is a permanent, fullātime role (34.5 hours per week) based in Wales with mobile working. You will spend 2ā3 days per week faceātoāface in communities and attend quarterly ināperson team meetings in the UK. Flexible and outāofāhours work may be required to support evening and weekend events, compensated with time off in lieu.
Responsibilities
Build and nurture relationships with a diverse range of supporters, volunteer groups, and organisations.
Plan, organise and multitask to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including supporter retention and fundraising targets.
Communicate and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively acquire new business through targeted acquisition, including research, application completion and presentations to potential supporters.
Qualifications and Experience
Solid account management experience with a proven ability to build rapport and develop relationships.
Strong planning, organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
Experience in proactive newābusiness acquisition.
Location & Working Conditions
Base in Wales (or very close to the border, e.g. Chester).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or ability to travel frequently across the region.
Mobile working base; 2ā3 days of faceātoāface meetings per week.
Quarterly ināperson team meetings in the UK; flexible overtime as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: £35,200 to £39,200 + benefits + car allowance.
25 days holiday plus flexible bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service.
