We are seeking a visionary and strategic Group Product Design Manager to lead and scale exceptional design teams across multiple core product areas. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll not only set the bar for design excellence but also help redefine how businesses around the world hire, onboard, pay, manage and develop global talent. As a senior leader, you’ll drive both the design vision and execution strategy across verticals, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Analytics and Business stakeholders.
Your leadership will be critical to aligning design with company-wide priorities, elevating user experience, and making Deel’s products a benchmark for trust, usability, and innovation in the global HR and fintech space.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and champion a bold, cohesive design strategy across multiple product areas in alignment with Deel’s long-term mission. Champion a culture of innovation and design excellence, embedding user-centred design principles into the organisation.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business partners to solve complex challenges with scalable, elegant solutions.
- Design Quality & Execution: Maintain end-to-end ownership of design quality across platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Operational Excellence & Scale: Optimise resourcing across teams to meet evolving business priorities while safeguarding design quality.
- Impact Measurement & Outcomes: Define clear success metrics for design and tie outputs directly to business outcomes and user satisfaction.
- Experience & Leadership: 8–10+ years of product design experience, with at least 4+ years in leadership roles managing senior individual contributors.
- Design Expertise & Systems Thinking: Deep fluency in UX, UI, and product strategy, with a strong systems mindset.
- Strategic Mindset: Comfortable operating in ambiguity while translating high-level vision into clear action.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, trade-offs, and direction.
