Your New Role... The UK business is going through a major transformation, pivoting from being almost 100% linear to being digital first, and our Sales team needs to reflect that. As a complement to our 3rd party sales reps we are building an innovative, passionate and industry respected in-house Ad Sales team. Within this dynamic and fast-growing department, the International Ad Sales team is responsible for driving revenue direct from clients and agencies based in the UK but with responsibility for International, Pan-Regional or Multi-local budgets, delivering creative solutions to clients briefs utilising every aspect of our business from channels to streaming, from entertainment to kids, from films to sport and gaming.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Consider the pipeline of business, building and managing effective relationships through to progressing deals.
- Support the senior exec & manager in the delivery of international team revenue objectives, working across multi-platform TV, web, app and social media opportunities, through advertising, content creation & on-ground activation.
- Working with the Sales Director and sales team, you will support the sales process from prospecting through to deal implementation and securing repeat client investment.
- You will be responsible for managing and assisting the successful coordination of client partnerships, including research, generating ideas, problem-solving, building pitch and analyses materials, planning campaign activity, booking, implementing, monitoring, and reporting performances directly with clients, agencies and vendors.
- Develop strong relationships and maintain regular contact with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Acquire comprehensive understanding and ongoing knowledge of the global WBD brand portfolio, sales rationale, and evolving developments.
- Responsibility for any other ad-hoc duties required by the Sales Director, across the sales team and global WBD network.
- Build relationships with wider team by travelling to other territories for workshops, training, and sales meetings.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Experienced within Media or broadcast: in Media Agencies, Client-side or media owner.
- Able to build positive relationships both internally and with external partner.
- Experienced in creating and delivering presentations.
- Skilled with office tools – strong excel skills required.
- Able to work with facts and figures – has a detailed mind.
- Knowledge of Warner Bros. Discovery and the Media industry.
- Demonstrates good consumer understanding and insights.
- Understands TV and media landscape whether that be linear or VOD.
- Enjoys building and maintaining relationships, internally and externally.
- Responds effectively to positive and negative feedback.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
