Join our dynamic Chemistry department as a full-time Technician and be part of a collaborative team of 20+ skilled professionals. You'll work in a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art instruments (IC, GC-FID, HPLC, UV-Vis, GC-MS, LC-MS), performing routine and advanced chemical testing on consumer products.
What You’ll Do
- Perform and document chemical tests accurately and efficiently
- Maintain analytical equipment
- Follow standard procedures within an accredited lab (UKAS)
- Support due diligence and certification testing (CE/UKCA)
- Adhere to quality and health & safety standards
About You
Essential:
- Previous lab experience or strong academic background in science (GCSE or equivalent)
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-driven
- Strong communication and time management skills
Desirable:
- A-levels or further education in science
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
