Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to join our team in supporting a Healthcare Organisation. The role involves the development, support, and maintenance of Cisco-based network infrastructure across multiple sites in North Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Cisco management systems, telephony solutions, and other IP network components.
- Ensure the security of the network through the management of firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Monitor network performance, addressing issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with stakeholders to implement and refine network solutions that meet organisational requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams and procedural guidelines.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for upgrades and technical support.
- Travel to various sites across North Wales to provide on-site assistance as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cisco Network Engineer, ideally within a multi-site environment.
- Proficiency in Cisco management platforms and telephony systems (e.g., Cisco Call Manager).
