What you will be doing

  • You’ll work across design, manufacturing, and operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster continuous improvement and innovation. The goal is to make the business more agile, customer-focused, and sustainable.
  • We’re not looking for someone who wants to rip things up and start again. Instead, we need a thoughtful, empathetic leader who can see the bigger picture and take this talented team on a journey toward operational excellence.

Key areas you’ll oversee

  • Operational excellence – Implementing robust processes to deliver high-quality engineering products.
  • Team development – Leading, motivating, and mentoring teams to create a high-performance culture.
  • Stakeholder engagement – Working closely with suppliers, clients, and senior management.
  • Risk management & compliance – Identifying potential risks in operational changes and developing strategies to mitigate them.

You’ll be working alongside the MD and General Manager, driving these initiatives forward.

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in engineering, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • A strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with a proven track record in driving and managing operational transformation.
  • Lean Six Sigma and process improvement expertise.

This could be a fixed term contract or perm role. We are ideally looking for candidates within commutable distance of Leominster.
