This consultancy’s security team is made up of accredited professionals, including chartered engineers, members of the Security Institute, and Principal Members of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES). The team is known for delivering evidence-based, objective design strategies grounded in risk and technical excellence.

In this role, you will:
- Develop technical security designs from strategic concepts, including specifications and engineering drawings
- Contribute to and manage multiple projects, including large-scale, complex developments
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team growth
- Represent the team in client and stakeholder meetings, presenting security designs and engaging on technical matters
- Coordinate with wider design teams and external stakeholders to integrate security requirements
- Contribute to the team's operational effectiveness through quality assurance and project delivery refinement
- Build a sound understanding of threat and risk assessments as the foundation for effective security design
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in engineering or related discipline (postgraduate qualification desirable)
- Experience within the built environment and knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work
- Technical understanding of electronic security systems
- Proficiency in design tools such as CAD and Revit
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead discussions with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Eligibility to obtain BPSS and SC-level security clearance
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Security Consultant looking to elevate their career within a supportive and expert-led environment that values thought leadership and collaborative working.
