We are seeking an exceptional Director of Performance Marketing to join the Maybourne Marketing team. Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory, The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera. The Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for driving qualified traffic, maximizing ROI, and increasing direct bookings through data-driven, omni-channel marketing strategies. This role demands a deep understanding of paid media, analytics, and luxury consumer behaviour, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.

Main responsibilities of the Director of Performance Marketing role include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, affiliate, metasearch, and retargeting.
  • Drive direct revenue through high-impact campaigns focused on acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Optimize marketing spend across channels and markets using data, testing, and attribution models.
  • Collaborate with brand, CRM, eCommerce, and revenue management teams to align campaigns with business objectives.
  • Oversee agency relationships and manage internal resources to execute campaigns flawlessly.
  • Monitor and analyse performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, etc.) and deliver insights to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends and guest behaviour insights in the luxury travel space.
  • Ensure the digital customer journey reflects the luxury positioning and values of the brand.
  • Support loyalty and personalization initiatives through targeted digital strategies.
  • Manage performance marketing budgets and deliver accurate forecasting and reporting.

Successful candidates for our Director of Performance Marketing opportunity will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital/performance marketing, ideally in luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale paid media campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, DSPs, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, GA4), attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with metasearch and OTA optimization.
  • Understanding of the nuances of luxury audiences and premium positioning.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and agencies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
