Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client, a white goods organisation. The successful candidate will efficiently deal with all goods entering and leaving the warehouse environment, whilst helping to deliver the groupβs values of focusing on our customers, controlling our costs and taking care of our products, and coaching staff to ensure that this is delivered. Action WEEE and assist in all warehouse requirements.
This role is a 5 month contract with the possibility to extend. They will be working a 4 on 4 off shift, 12 hours with 1 hour break.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all warehouse policies and procedures.
- Ensure stock is moved to the right location using the appropriate methods available.
- Use and recommend suitable packaging that are to agreed standards, whilst minimising waste.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness in parallel to the operation performed.
- Load/Unload WEEE and keep area tidy in wet/dry environment.
- Assist in all site processes including admin duties.
- Ensure both site and vehicle key controls are in place and adhered to.
Personal Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Certified to use all Manual Handling Equipment.
- Knowledge of the Health & Safety procedures.
- Counterbalance licence.
- Understanding of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements for functional areas and site.
- Clamp attachment trained and assessed (Desirable).
Working Hours: 37hrs / 8:00am - 20:00pm / 4 days on 4 days off
Pay: Β£15.40 per hr
