About ATP Media:
ATP Media is the broadcast and media arm of the ATP Tour. The company manages the production, distribution, and commercial exploitation of the broadcast rights of the ATP Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals tennis tournaments as well as the ATP 500 events, ATP 250s and the ATP Next Gen ATP Finals.
Additionally, ATP Media produces and distributes Original Programming, Non-Live Content – including social, digital, branded content and linear – for both its media partners, the ATP Tour and Masters 1000s tournaments.
The company also owns and operates Tennis TV, the official live video streaming subscription service of the ATP Tour. Tennis TV streams every ATP Tour tournament to a global audience, with over 2,000 live matches a year, to www.tennistv.com and a wide range of streaming devices.
About The Role
ATP Media\’s award-winning Non-live Department is seeking a Creative Producer who will play a leading role in shaping and delivering Original content with the best tennis players in the world.
We’re after someone who lives and breathes video – a creative mind with a genuine passion for making intelligent, engaging content that will really stand out. This role requires someone who is obsessed with quality modern storytelling, with an eye for the details that will take content from good to great, and from solid to sensational. We’re looking for a Producer who is dedicated, innovative, and will always be looking to push boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage and supervise high-quality non-live tennis productions.
- Project Planning & Execution: Plan and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ownership of Projects: Lead projects, overseeing all editorial aspects to ensure deliverables are in line with the agreed creative.
- Innovation: Play a crucial role in a team dedicated to producing engaging and innovative videos.
- Versatility across Formats: Demonstrate expertise in all platforms and formats, from short-form social media content to long-form Linear and magazine programming.
- Effective Communication: Be a reliable point of contact, clearly communicating with the Creative Director, Director of Content, and others throughout the production process.
- Production Management Knowledge: Collaborate with the Production Management team to organize ambitious productions, both in the UK and internationally.
- Team Leadership: Effectively manage all production staff, including freelancers, to maintain efficiency across various productions.
- Representation: Represent ATP Media in internal and external meetings.
- Champion of Creativity: Seek to bring creativity into the production process, pushing for originality and innovation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all output meets high standards, aiming to make ATP Media non-live content among the best in the sports industry.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in content production, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects.
- Dynamic, resourceful, and adaptable to trends, platform changes, and new platforms.
- Deep interest and extensive knowledge in social media and digital content.
- Proven experience in creating and producing non-live features, from short-form social to long-form linear.
- A black book of talented freelance operators.
- Experience in supervising edits of all sizes.
- Experience in organising and leading high-profile multi-camera productions.
- Good tennis knowledge
- Ability to work independently and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
