JLB are delighted to be partnering with a leading events and hospitality business to recruit a Senior Operations Project Manager to join the team. Our client creates high-end, bespoke event and travel experiences for luxury clients and corporate groups, combining elite execution with world-class hospitality. The events are designed to deliver exceptional and unforgettable experiences globally.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management: Own the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale luxury events from concept to completion, ensuring seamless guest experiences aligned with brand values.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key liaison between internal departments (marketing, creative, production, legal, finance) and external partners (venues, agencies, vendors, talent).
- Budget Oversight: Build and manage multi-million-dollar event budgets, including forecasting, reporting, and ROI tracking.
- Vendor & Venue Management: Source and negotiate with global vendors, luxury venues, and suppliers to ensure premium service, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
- Global Logistics: Coordinate all international logistics (transportation, accommodations, customs, permits), ensuring punctuality and flawless execution.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all events comply with international safety standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Team Leadership: Support Operations Director in managing and mentoring a team of event & project managers, coordinators, and freelancers.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in project management, operations, or event production, with at least 5 years managing high-end global events.
- Proven experience working with luxury, fashion, automotive, hospitality, or high-net-worth clientele and robust contacts in listed industry sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex international projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Strong expertise in budget creation and management (over $1M+ per event).
