The Regional Globalization Manager is an account-based leadership role focused on delivering high-quality globalization services for assigned clients. The role involves managing day-to-day client interactions, overseeing regional localization efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination of globalization strategies that meet client-specific requirements.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within advertising, localization, or translation agencies.
- At least 3-5 years of experience managing people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Basic understanding of P&L management.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Translation Management Systems and industry-standard CAT tools.
- Proven track record managing multi-regional or global client accounts, demonstrating strong cross-cultural communication and international strategic planning.
- Bilingual proficiency highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading, motivating, and developing teams.
- Lead daily client relationship management, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and proactive communication.
- Oversee and execute comprehensive client onboarding processes for localization and globalization initiatives, facilitating smooth transitions between global, regional, and local services.
- Develop and implement regional globalization frameworks that effectively address market-specific nuances, regulatory compliance, and cultural sensitivities.
- Advise and support the globalization team regarding timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting for projects.
- Manage client billing processes and collaborate with Finance to deliver accurate monthly billing reports.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial and project performance reports to clients.
- Independently conduct client presentations and actively participate in client meetings.
- Implement client satisfaction follow-up initiatives and surveys to ensure continuous improvement.
- Identify and cultivate opportunities for new business development and account growth.
- Support the globalization team by effectively managing issue escalations and resolutions according to established procedures.
- Initiate and participate in research and testing for new technologies, integrations, and workflow improvements.
- Regularly analyze competitor offerings and strategies, leveraging insights to enhance the company's value proposition.
- Identify and address team training needs, fostering continuous professional growth.
- Provide strategic input to improve operational processes, service timelines, and inter-departmental communication.
