Are you an experienced Legal Secretary/Assistant looking to secure your next new challenge within a reputable Law Firm? ACS Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a multi-service Private Practice seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join the friendly family legal team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Legal Secretary seeking a long-term challenge in a Firm where you will be valued. Conveyancing exposure would be advantageous but not essential.

The Firm are a well-recognised and respected Lexcel accredited Private Practice with histories since the 1800's, making them one of the longest standing Firms in the Wiltshire area. Providing first class legal advice given by an approachable and professional team who are committed to building long term relationships with their clients and to always meet changing needs. With multiple office locations across Wiltshire, the Firm are able to provide a personal touch aided by their wealth of expertise and offer online services meaning that they can assist whatever the situation, wherever you are in the region.

What will be expected of you?

  • Audio typing, preparing and amending draft documents.
  • Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with emails.
  • Dealing with clients both in person and on the telephone and assisting clients in the absence of the fee earner.
  • Making appointments and assisting with queries.
  • Photocopying, filing and general office duties including opening files and preparing completed file storage.
  • Liaising with Accounts Department to obtain cheques, print-outs etc., as necessary.
  • Liaising with the Office Manager with regard to stocks of stationery etc.
  • Providing reception cover when required.
