Mig & Tig Welder

Our client a leading manufacturer of bespoke stairs in the UK are looking for a full time, permanent welder with either MIG and/or TIG welding experience to help work on a large portfolio of projects.

You will be working as part of a team in the fabricating and welding of a variety of structures, working from CAD & Solidworks drawings.

Duties

• Fabricating & welding components (between 3mm and 20mm) in down hand, vertical, or overhead positions

• Remove rough spots using a portable grinder

• Hand file or chisel and cut workpieces using powered saws or portable grinders

• Able to work to high standards and tight timescales

• Using own initiative both individually and as part of a team

• Experience working with CAD & Solidworks drawings

• 2 years experience with MIG/TIG welding

• Working as part of a team, * MIG welding: 1 year (required)

• Fabrication: 1 year (required)
